Universe Church (Latin: universum unus “one”+ versus, “to turn, convert”)
“You were all called to travel on the same road and in the same direction, so stay together, both outwardly and inwardly. You have one Master, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who rules over all, works through all, and is present in all. Everything you are and think and do is permeated with Oneness.
Diverse Church (Latin diversus “turned different ways.”
“But that doesn’t mean you should all look and speak and act the same. Out of the generosity of Christ, each of us is given his own gift.”
(Ephesians 4:4–7, The Message)

One body, many members. This is very different from many institutions and one pulpit.
Dividing God’s people into many different brand names displays the opposite of what Jesus was praying for:
John 17:22
The glory that you have given me
I have given to them,
that they may be one even as we are one,
23 I in them and you in me,
that they may become perfectly one,
so that the world may know that you sent me and loved them even as you loved me.
The lost are supposed to see our “perfect oneness” to display that Jesus is God, one with the Father. Demonstrating division displays Jesus is not God, one with the Father. Our belief in the deity of Christ demands a display of his deity. It is not enough to merely believe in the deity of Christ.
