Philippians 4:10 (ESV)

“Not that I am speaking of being in need, for I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content.”

Feeling inadequate, poor, broke, stupid, out of gas, unmotivated, or worse?

Here in Philippians 4:11 Paul the apostle teaches—on purpose or incidentally—by way of his own story how to deal with lack. And certainly, the Holy Spirit is inside of Paul’s writings, is inspiring us to have faith that the Lord our shepherd and we do not lack—no matter how things look.

Wonderfully, gloriously, and patiently the Holy Spirit is teaching us to see as Jesus saw—by faith and not by sight. We are learning to rise above the old dead grave of circumstances and be resurrected into newness of life.

Learning makes our journey worthwhile. We are exercising faith in Jesus’ promise of abundance for money, approval, healing, wholeness, happiness, love, and more! Our growing, certain hope is in Jesus. Enjoy listening to this passage and listening to the video for hope and healing toward your inner peace and contentment.
