Listening starts with suffering, then submitting, and, finally, serving. My source is the Lord Jesus Christ the Son of God. He walked these steps out. That’s why Jesus is the Great Starter and Finisher of our own faith-walk!
Here’s how he did it:
“Even though he was (= I am) a son, Jesus learned (=disciple) from suffering the obedience (=listening under, submission).” (καίπερ ὢν υἱός, ἔμαθεν ἀφʼ ὧν ἔπαθεν τὴν ὑπακοήν – Greek, Hebrews 5:8)
Obedience in Greek is literally “to hear under” someone or something. If you want to become a great listener trust as Papa Father teaches you obedience—just like he did with his firstborn son, Jesus
Hey is there more to this article, this is interesting feels like there should be more. So was it the 40 day in the desert I guess I dont understand the suffering part.
