Below are seven great open questions for asking and then listening.

I use them all the time with my executive coaching, life coaching, team facilitating, and, well, regular conversations.

They help me listen and learn. Often when asked these questions people have breakthroughs! Lights go on!

Sometimes, I ask the LORD to “coach” me by asking these same questions. It works great.

Here are the Seven Questions:

  1. What’s on your mind?
  2. And what else?
  3. What is your greatest challenge?
  4. What do you want?
  5. If you say Yes to this what will you have to say No to?
  6. How can I help?
  7. \What was useful for you?
