America’s king under God is the U. S. Constitution.
The U.S. Constitution is our authority, rule of law, and king. As you pray for the election outcomes please be mindful of America’s king under God—The U.S. Constitution. (Links for learning: The Constitution Center; Wallbuilders)
Our Political Prayer Guide:
1 Timothy 2:1–6 (NKJV) Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, 2 for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. 3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, 4 who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. 5 For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, 6 who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.
This 2020 election is not about personalities. It is a battle over the constitution’s rule.
It is about human rights and freedom. It is about respectfully following our constitution—or not.
Thankfully, we have a constitution. Thankfully, it listens to us when we approach it reverently. Thankfully, it has careful provisions, guidelines, and rules for being changed.
Please pray that our constitution will be respected and followed during this election and into the future.
