Good morning, Papa Father,

  • Thank you that you are the one who will keep us on track! Proverbs 3:5-6) We need you every hour! (John 15:5; Philippians 4:13)
  • Thank you for your ways that are not our ways and your thoughts that are not our thoughts. (Isaiah 55:8-9) That gives us hope. We are glad to have a father that thinks bigger and beyond our thoughts. Our thoughts often discourage and weary us. (E.g., “Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many things…” Matthew 10:41-42)
  • Thank you that you share your thoughts with us. That is always a kindness even when it doesn’t feel kind at first. (Hebrews 12:11)
  • Thank you that your logos (word, logic, accounting, engagement) is alive and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit and of the thoughts and intents of the heart. (Hebrews 4:12)
  • Thank you that we are all naked and exposed unto the eyes of you, the one with whom we will stand and give logos (give an account). (Hebrews 4:13)
  • Thank you that you already know every word that is coming out of our mouth and that you know every place we have gone and are going. You are omniscient, omnipresent, and omnipotent! (Psalm 139:1-12)
  • Thank you that you know our human frame and that is of the dust of the earth and are tender with us. (Psalm 103:14)
  • Thank you that our spirit person is a completely new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17) and loves your ways! (Romans 7:22)
