The same Spirit
Thursday text (Day 5 of 7) “The same Spirit…”
“Through him [Jesus] we both share the same Spirit…” (Ephesians 2:18, Message Bible)
There are many spirits (2 Corinthians 11:4, 1 John 4:1–6). God’s Spirit is called the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is the one Jesus asked for and sent to us from heaven (John 14:16).
The Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Truth, is at work in our hearts and minds today. (John 16:13-15)
The Holy Spirit communicates with people all around the world! (John 16:8-11)
The Holy Spirit is at work so we can lighten up, listen, and let God’s Holy Spirit lead our conversations.
Giv’m heaven,
Your brother,
John Parker

I consider the Holy Spirit as my Comforter and advocate. I never end a prayer without thanking the Spirit that lives in Me. thank you, Jesus, for this wonder gift.
Thank you, Frank! Yes to the Holy Spirit!
“…we both share the same Spirit…” A HUGE reason why the pulpit and pew version of “meeting together” is so contrived and dysfunctional. It shouts only the hired man with a Bible degree has any value from God. The Spirit would like this rejection of His work cleaned up. By faith, we can trust God to work as we sow and water with “the sword of the Spirit which is the word of God.”
Amen! Yes, there’s a HUGE shouting “elephant in the room.” So tragic, sad, and rebellious against “one another”-ness in gatherings! Hebrews 10:19-25
