Me too, C.T.!
People are hurting! This is a time for living dangerously, taking risks, and reaching out for the sake of the lost, wounded, and hurting.
Of radical “rescue shop” living, Paul writes:
“It matters very little to me what you think of me, even less where I rank in popular opinion. I don’t even rank myself. Comparisons in these matters are pointless.
I’m not aware of anything that would disqualify me from being a good guide for you, but that doesn’t mean much. The Master makes that judgment.
So don’t get ahead of the Master and jump to conclusions with your judgments before all the evidence is in.
When he comes, he will bring out in the open and place in evidence all kinds of things we never even dreamed of—inner motives and purposes and prayers. Only then will any one of us get to hear the “Well done!” of God.” (1 Corinthians 4:3–5, MSG)
“Well Done!”
If you believe it! It’s true! Jesus Christ is getting us to his “Well done!”
Yes, Paul assures us: “There has never been the slightest doubt in my mind that the God who started this great work in you would keep at it and bring it to a flourishing finish on the very day Christ Jesus appears.” (Philippians 1:6, MSG)
Do you believe this? Even belief is a gift we can believe in and say thank you for!
Joyfully, Paul exclaims: “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.” (Acts 16:31, ESV)
Giv’m heaven!
